In Front of Others
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Your hand trembles before speaking in public, your heart races before that important meeting, your voice falters thinking about other people's judgment. That fear of being seen, evaluated, criticized, can paralyze the very best you have to offer.
My son, my daughter, I did not give you a spirit of cowardice. That paralyzing fear does not come from me. I gave you strength to face what needs to be faced, love so that your motivation isn't to prove something but to serve and contribute, and self-control so that anxiety doesn't take the reins.
The people in the room don't have the final say over your worth — I do, and I already declared you precious in my eyes before you ever opened your mouth. Go with the strength I placed in you. You don't need everyone's approval to accomplish what you have to do today.
