Word of the Father · Day 63/366
Tomorrow Hasn't Come Yet
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Matthew 6:34
Today I want to remind you of something simple: the tomorrow you fear so much doesn't exist yet. You're spending today's strength to carry a weight that may not even arrive the way you imagine, and that steals the energy meant for living what's right in front of you.
I know this mind of yours that travels ahead, rehearsing disasters, foreseeing every possible bad scenario. That's more exhausting than any physical labor, because it's a war that only happens inside you. And worse still — it's a war against an enemy that hasn't even arrived yet, and may never arrive the way you imagine.
I give you grace for today. Tomorrow, when it comes, I will be there too, with fresh grace for that specific day. You don't receive tomorrow's strength today, because today you don't need it yet. Live this day, just this one, hand in mine, one step at a time.
