Word of the Father · Day 54/366
Wounds from Long Ago
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3
There's an old pain you've carried since childhood, or from a hard season that passed years ago, but it still hurts when someone touches that place without meaning to. You've tried to forget, to move on, to pretend it doesn't affect you anymore — but the wound is still open inside.
I saw everything that happened to you. I saw every word that hurt, every abandonment, every situation that left a mark too deep for time alone to erase. I'm not asking you to minimize that pain, or to pretend it never happened. I'm asking you to bring that wound to me, so I can truly care for it.
Healing isn't erasing the memory — it's removing the poison it still releases today. I specialize in mending what's broken on the inside, even when everything looks fine on the outside. Let me into that closed-off place in your heart.
