When the Body Can't Take Any More
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
You wake up tired the way you should wake up rested. Your body aches from carrying so much — work, home, people who depend on you, and no one really asking how you're doing. You keep going because it feels like there's no choice, but inside there's almost nothing left.
I didn't call you to live exhausted all the time, proving to someone that you can handle it all on your own. I called you to come to me exactly when you're tired — not after you've fixed everything, not when you're stronger, but right now, right where you are.
Resting in me isn't weakness, it's wisdom. Let me carry some of the weight you insist on carrying alone. You don't have to be strong all the time to keep being loved by me.
