Faith the Size of a Seed

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 17:20

You look at your own faith and feel it's too small, too weak, too full of doubt to match the size of the problem in front of you. You compare yourself to people who seem to trust me without any hesitation, and you feel behind, or even disqualified.

I never asked for a giant faith. I asked for a faith the size of a mustard seed — small, almost invisible, but alive. It's not the size of your confidence that moves mountains, it's the fact that it's placed in me, who am big enough for any problem you face.

Don't be discouraged because your faith looks small today. A tiny seed of trust, watered every day with a little prayer and obedience, grows more than you imagine. The mountain in front of you is not bigger than the One who made the mountains.
