Word of the Father · Day 46/366

Without Understanding Why

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 55:8

You've been asking this question for days: why? Why did this happen right now, right to you, in such a hard way to understand? I know the lack of an answer hurts almost as much as the problem itself.

I'm not obligated to explain every decision before you trust me. My thoughts reach distances yours can't yet see — like someone standing on top of a mountain who sees the whole river, while the person down below only sees the nearest bend. That doesn't mean I don't care about your pain; it means I see more than you can see right now.

You don't need to have all the answers to keep trusting me. You can come with your honest questions, without pretending you've figured it all out. One day, looking back, so much of this will make sense that doesn't make sense today.
