Word of the Father · Day 52/366
In the Middle of Home Chaos
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”
1 Corinthians 14:33
The house is a jumble of voices all at once: a child crying, bills to sort out, an argument nobody can remember starting, and you right in the middle of it all trying to hold on to some sanity. Sometimes it feels like the confusion will never end.
I'm not the author of this disorder, but I don't run from it either. I step right into the middle of the chaos — into the messy kitchen, the tense silent living room, the bedroom where nobody understands each other. My peace doesn't depend on everything around you being tidy — it can exist even when the surroundings are still a mess.
Take a deep breath before you react. Ask for my calm to fill you before you try to fix what's outside. Little by little, I will bring order to what feels impossible to organize today — starting with your own heart.
