Word of the Father ยท Day 62/366

When the Numbers Don't Add Up

โ€œTherefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.โ€

Matthew 6:31-32

I saw you sitting at the table today, calculator and bills spread out, trying to stretch money that won't stretch. I saw the knot in your stomach, the same calculation redone three times, hoping for a different result.

My son, my daughter, I am not a distant Father watching your budget struggle from far away. I know exactly what's missing, and I know exactly what you need. Before you even ask, I already know the need. That doesn't mean money will fall from the sky tomorrow, but it does mean you don't walk through this uncertainty abandoned.

Let your shoulders drop a little now. Do what's within your reach โ€” organize, cut what you can, ask for help if you need to โ€” and then rest in my hands what is beyond your reach. I take care of what is mine.
