Word of the Father · Day 49/366
In the Middle of Loneliness
“I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Joshua 1:5
Some days the house feels too big for one person, the phone stays quiet all day long, you eat dinner alone staring at a screen without really paying attention to it. Loneliness hits differently at night, when there's nothing left to distract you.
I want to remind you of a promise I made long ago, and it still holds true for you today: I will not fail you, I will not forsake you. It's not a pretty phrase to decorate a card — it's a commitment I keep in every empty room, in every silence that hurts, in every table set for one.
You may be alone in a room, but you are never alone in life. I am here, present, attentive to every thought crossing your mind right now. And while you learn to rest in my company, I'm also preparing the right people for your path.
