Word of the Father · Day 41/366

When a Marriage Is Cracking

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church.

Ephesians 5:23,25

I see the doors slamming harder lately, the conversations that turn into arguments before they even begin, the cold silence after the fight. The two of you once loved each other so much, and now it feels like all that's left is exhaustion and accumulated hurt. You wonder if there's still a way forward.

I don't give up on marriages, even when the people inside them are almost ready to give up. I know every wound you carry from each other, every word spoken in anger that should have stayed swallowed. And even so, I can restore what looks broken, if the two of you make room for me to step into the middle of this fight.

I'm not promising it will be easy or fast. But I promise to be present in every hard conversation, if you invite me into it. Trust that I can still rebuild what today looks like nothing but ruins.
