Word of the Father · Day 31/366

Starting Over Is My Way of Loving You

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19

After thirty-one days walking with me through this whole theme, I want you to understand something that goes beyond any specific situation we've lived together this month: starting over isn't a rare event that happens now and then, on special dates in your life. It's my constant, daily way of loving you, without exception.

Every morning I offer mercies completely new, without holding you to the balance of the day before. Every honestly confessed mistake earns a fresh, blank chapter. Every door that closes makes room for another one that I myself will open, at the right time. You don't need to wait for the new year, next Monday, or some special date on the calendar to start over with me — it can be right now, in this very reading, in this exact moment you're in.

Carry this with you for the rest of your life: no matter how many more times you need to start over, I will never grow tired of welcoming you back, arms wide open. This is the new thing I do inside you every single day — and it never, ever stops springing forth.
