Word of the Father · Day 96/366
When Even the Young Grow Tired
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:”
Isaiah 40:30
Today I want to remind you of something maybe no one ever told you: even the strong grow tired. Even those who seem to have energy to spare, readiness for anything, an easy smile in every situation, will one day stumble and fall. That's not a weakness in you — it's the condition of every human being under the sun.
You've been judging yourself as though you should be tireless, as though stopping were failure and resting were an excuse for weak people. But I myself wrote that the young stumble and fall — my word, not something you made up — and right after, in the same breath, I promised to renew the strength of those who wait on me.
So don't compare yourself to a strength no one has on their own, not even the people you admire from a distance. Accept that getting tired is part of life, and that the next step isn't to judge yourself even harder — it's to come to me and be lifted up gently, with no rush to prove anything.
