Word of the Father · Day 94/366
Be Strong, Begin Again
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Joshua 1:9
Come here. I know this isn't the first time you've tried to start over. You've tried before, fallen, gotten back up, fallen again — and now you're facing yet another beginning, afraid that this time it won't work out either, ashamed of having to explain once more why you're trying again.
I didn't tell Joshua to start out alone, carrying on his own back the weight of leading an entire nation. I said: be strong and of good courage, because I go with you wherever you go. That includes this fresh start that's tying your stomach in knots right now, this shame you feel at having to try again.
You don't need all the answers today, or a perfect plan already worked out in your head. You just need to take the first step knowing I won't fall behind. Wherever you're about to begin again, I've already arrived before you.
