Word of the Father · Day 99/366

You Don't Fight Alone

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Joshua 1:5

My son, my daughter, I know the weight of feeling like this battle is yours alone. That no one else quite understands what you're carrying, that the people around you go on with life as usual while you hold your pain by yourself, smiling on the outside so as not to worry anyone.

To Joshua I said clearly, before he crossed into unknown territory full of giants: I will not leave you, nor forsake you. That promise wasn't locked away in ancient history, kept only for a people from thousands of years ago — it reaches all the way to you, today, in this fight that feels bigger than your strength, in this silence that only you know.

You might even feel alone in a room full of people, or in a house where no one notices what's happening inside you. But I am right there, by your side, holding what you cannot hold on your own. This war, you don't wage unaccompanied, and you won't wage it alone until the end.
