Word of the Father · Day 98/366
In the Sleepless Nights
“Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.”
Isaiah 41:14
I was awake with you in the small hours of that morning, when the clock showed a time no one should be seeing. I know your mind spun through thoughts you can silence during the day, but at night they shout louder, one after another, leaving no room for sleep to come.
You feel small in the face of everything you have to deal with, almost like a worm next to the size of your problems, feeling like you don't measure up to what life is demanding of you. I chose that very small word on purpose to remind you: even feeling that way, insignificant, I never give up on helping you.
The next sleepless night, don't stay there alone, circling the same thoughts. Talk to me, even without a voice, just in your heart, however you can. I am your Redeemer, and a mind worn out in the middle of the night is also under my care, without exception.
