Word of the Father · Day 286/366
The Other Person's Edited Life
“A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.”
Proverbs 14:30
My son, my daughter, today I need to be direct with you: this envy that grows inside you when you see someone else's life isn't just a passing feeling — it rots you from within, as Scripture says. It steals your sleep, sours your mood, poisons even your closest relationships.
The life you envy is always a cropped scene, edited, lit just right. You don't see the hidden debts, the silenced conflicts, the nights of crying that no one posts about. Comparing your real life to someone else's showcase is a battle lost before it even begins.
I want to give you back a tranquil heart. Not because your life is perfect, but because it's yours, cared for by me, with a purpose that only makes sense when lived, not when compared. Trade envy for gratitude and feel the difference in your body, in your health, in your sleep.
