Word of the Father · Day 119/366
No Fear of the Medical Report
“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;”
Isaiah 43:1-2
I know what it's like to wait for a test result with your heart in your throat, imagining the worst scenarios before you even know the full truth. That kind of waiting wears a person down on the inside, even without spending any physical energy at all, draining your spirit little by little, hour after hour.
I called you by name, your name, not a chart number or a cold statistic on a spreadsheet. Whatever result comes, I want you to know this first: you are mine, and when you pass through the hardest waters, I will be with you, from the beginning to the end of this crossing, never leaving your side, not even for a second.
Let me hold your anxiety now, in this uncertain time of waiting. The result hasn't come yet, the doctor hasn't called yet, but my presence is already with you in this very moment, and it doesn't change depending on what the test turns out to say afterward.
