Word of the Father · Day 122/366
A Fresh Start After Falling
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
1 John 1:7
I know what you did. I know about the fall you swore you wouldn't repeat, and you repeated it. I know the weight you've carried since then, walking with your head down as if I had turned my back on you. But I didn't.
My son, my daughter, I'm not waiting for you to arrive perfect before I look you in the eyes again. I was already looking at you in the middle of the fall. The light I offer isn't meant to expose and condemn you — it's meant to cleanse you. My Son's blood doesn't only wash away small sins; it washes away the one you think is too big.
Today I want to remind you: starting over isn't pretending nothing happened. It's walking in the light again, even ashamed, and discovering that I was already there waiting with open arms, not crossed ones.
