Word of the Father · Day 217/366

Success Is Not the Goal

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

I need to tell you something the world will not teach you: your purpose is not measured in prizes, recognition, or how visible your work is. I did not create you with the spotlight in mind. I created you with a work in mind — a good work, done with your own hands, in your own way, in your own time.

You may spend your whole life doing something essential and never receive applause for it. Caring for someone, raising a child, honestly providing for a household, being kind on a hard day. That is also the work I prepared. It is not smaller just because no one is watching.

Today I want to free you from comparison. Stop measuring your worth by other people's applause. I have already seen every work of yours, every quiet effort, and to me it already counts — because it was made to walk in my ways, not in the ways of social media.
