Word of the Father · Day 216/366

Do Not Be Afraid of the New

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Joshua 1:9

I saw your heart race yesterday just thinking about the change ahead. The new job, the new city, the new chapter that seems too big for you. Son, daughter, I know what it is to start something unknown — and that is exactly why I did not send you alone.

Moses had already gone, Joshua was left with the task and the fear of not being enough. And what I said to him is what I say to you now: be strong, be of good courage, do not be afraid. Not because the road will be easy, but because I will be with you in every step of it. Wherever you go.

Fear of the new is human, I understand that. But it cannot be the one running your decisions. Let that be me instead. Take the first step today, even while trembling — I am holding your hand along the way.
