Word of the Father · Day 215/366
Called Right Where You Are
“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Peter 4:10
Come here, I want to clear an idea out of your head: that your calling will only begin when you move to a new city, change jobs, or finally get a stage. My love, the calling does not wait for the perfect setting. It begins exactly where your feet are standing right now — in the kitchen at home, in the checkout line, at your desk, on the crowded bus.
I did not choose you for the size of your résumé. I chose you for what you have to offer: a gift, a grace, a unique way of loving and serving that I myself placed in you. And that gift already serves someone today, even if it seems too small in your own eyes.
Stop waiting for a special invitation. The invitation was already given, long ago, and it says: serve with what you have, where you are. That is where your story starts to make sense with my purpose.
