Don't Know What to Do? Ask Me

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:5

I know you're facing a decision you don't know how to solve on your own: whether or not to accept that invitation, whether or not to stay in that relationship, whether to move to a new city, a new job, a whole new direction in life. And the interesting thing is, many people ask for my help last, after they've already asked everyone else around them and still remain confused, with no clarity at all.

I want to be your first stop, not your last resort when nothing else has worked. And here's good news: I don't keep count of how many times you've already asked for wisdom before and still got it wrong anyway. I give again, without charging interest, without shaming you, without throwing your past stumbles back in your face. Every request for wisdom is received by me as if it were the very first one you'd ever made.

Today, bring me this decision that's confusing you so much. Ask for clarity with sincerity. I don't promise an answer written in letters across the sky, but I do promise to guide your heart, little by little, with patience, until you can see the right path to follow.
