Word of the Father · Day 181/366

In Your Presence I Don't Have to Fake Greatness

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:10

I know that out there you have to look strong all the time: at work, with family, even on social media where everything seems perfect. Here, with Me, you don't have to fake any of that, no facade. You can come humble, you can come admitting that you couldn't handle it this time, that you made a bad mistake, that you're lost without knowing the next step to take.

Humbling yourself before Me isn't about lowering yourself or making yourself small — it's finally resting from carrying an image that's exhausting to hold up alone, day after day. It's saying 'Father, I can't do this on my own' and discovering that, exactly in that honest admission, I step in and act on your behalf. I don't exalt those who pretend to stand alone all the time. I exalt those who truly lean on Me, without shame in doing so.

Today, if you're tired of keeping up the mask that everything is fine when it isn't, take it off here, with Me, without fear of judgment. Come humble, just as you really are right now. I promise to lift you up, at the right time, in the right way, without rushing and without demands.
