Word of the Father · Day 147/366
Heir, Not Just a Servant
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.”
Romans 8:17
I want to correct an idea you may be carrying without realizing it: you don't work for me like an employee waiting for a paycheck at the end of the month. You are an heir. There's a huge difference between someone who serves expecting payment and someone who already owns, by right of family, everything the Father has.
Being a joint heir with Christ means that the inheritance he received — eternal life, identity, purpose, intimacy with me — is also yours, not earned through work, but through the bond of sonship. You don't need to strive to 'earn' what is already yours by inheritance.
So today, trade the anxious mindset of an employee chasing results for the mindset of a child who already knows what he has inherited. You are not begging for crumbs from a distant God. You are claiming what is already legally, spiritually, eternally yours. Walk today with the posture of someone who already knows the size of their own inheritance.
