Word of the Father · Day 336/366
Get Up, the Day Isn't Over
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9
My son, my daughter, I know about the fall you took. I know the shame of falling back into the same mistake, of promising this time would be different and it wasn't. Deep down, you've already decided it might not be worth trying anymore.
But I don't look at your fall the way you do. I look at the distance still ahead, and I know you can walk a little further. Falling doesn't take you out of the race, child. Staying down does. And I haven't come here to demand any explanation for the fall. I've come to reach out my hand and help you get up again, right now, today.
The season of harvest hasn't passed. Don't give up now, right when the turnaround is closer than you imagine. Get up. Shake off the dust. I'm walking beside you for the rest of the way, and this time I'm holding your hand even tighter.
