Word of the Father · Day 338/366
When the Fruit Is Slow to Come
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15:58
My son, my daughter, I know you're tired of planting and not seeing anything sprout. Tired of pouring time into the child who isn't changing, the project that isn't taking off, the prayer that seems to fall into a void. That tiredness is real, and I won't pretend it isn't.
But listen to what I want to tell you today: nothing you've done in love is being wasted. Beneath the ground, where your eyes can't reach, something is happening. The root grows before the sprout ever appears. Work done in faith has value even before it bears visible fruit, because it's already changing you on the inside while you wait.
Don't change direction just because the result is taking longer than you hoped. Stay steady, stay constant. I know the right time for every harvest, and I promise it's coming. Your work, done with me, is never in vain.
