Word of the Father · Day 310/366
While the Paperwork Hasn't Come Through
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
Psalm 27:14
The process is stuck in a line you don't control: a visa, a permit, exam results, loan approval, a medical report. You've already called, already asked, already prayed, and the system still says "under review." This dateless waiting carries its own weight, different from any other waiting you've known.
I know waiting without a deadline is harder than waiting when you know the day. But notice the psalm doesn't say "wait quietly and resigned" — it says "be of good courage." There's an active hope, one that prays, that grows strong, that keeps on living while the paperwork hasn't come through, without letting today's joy be held hostage by an uncertain tomorrow.
While your process moves along in the hands of people, my care for you is standing in no line at all. I don't need a case number to act in your life. Take courage today: the paperwork's timeline is not what decides whether I'm caring for you.
