Grateful for Fellowship
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
Psalm 133:1
Today I want to remind you of the community you have — the service that gathers you together, the midweek prayer group, the friends in faith who walk alongside you. There's a strength in unity that spiritual solitude will never give you, and the psalmist already sang of how good and pleasant it is to live in that unity.
So often you overlook that simple gathering — that moment of praying together, singing together, weeping together when life closes in. But it's exactly there that I love to pour out comfort, strength, and direction, through voices that join yours into one.
If you have a place today where you're welcomed, where you pray alongside others, where you're missed when you're absent, give thanks for it with renewed attention. And if that space is still weak in your life, ask me to open the way for you to find brothers and sisters to walk with — because the road wears you out so much more when you walk it alone.
