Word of the Father · Day 228/366

Serving Without Applause

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

Matthew 6:3

I saw the kindness you showed that person last week, the money you gave without telling anyone, the time you donated without posting about it, without a comment, without expecting anything back. And I want you to know: it is worth more than you imagine.

The world taught you to need an audience to validate the good you do. But I teach differently. Good done in secret, so quietly that not even your left hand knows what your right hand did, is the kind of work that warms my heart the most. Not because recognition is wrong, but because the purity of the intention shows more clearly when there's no exchange involved.

Keep serving like this. Keep helping without needing anyone to know. I see in secret, and in due time, I myself will reward what only I have seen.
