Day 6 — Marriage Devotional
A Good Thing Found
“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”
Proverbs 18:22
Sometimes the rush of life makes us forget what we have. Tasks pile up, the days repeat, and the one who sleeps beside us fades into the background. But God says you are a good thing. Not just you as a person — you as a presence in his life.
You were a blessing given by God to your spouse. And he was given to you too. That doesn't depend on your mood today or on whatever season your marriage is in. It's a truth that precedes circumstances. And there's enormous power in remembering that — for yourself. When you feel invisible, tired, or unappreciated, come back to this: you are a good thing that was found. Not by accident, not by luck — by the favor of God. This marriage was a grace. It's worth treating it that way.
Prayer
Father, thank You for making me a good thing for someone. On the days I feel small, remind me of what I am in Your eyes. Revive gratitude in our marriage. Amen.
