Day 57 — Peace in Place of Anxiety
The God of All Comfort
“Blessed be God... of all comfort, who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that... we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
There is a hidden purpose even in your struggle with anxiety — and it's beautiful. Scripture says God comforts you in your tribulation 'that' you may later comfort others who go through the same thing. In other words: the pain you're walking through will not be wasted. What you're learning now, in the comfort you receive from God, will one day become the embrace you give to someone else suffering from anxiety — and no one comforts better than someone who has been in the same pit and was rescued. Your story of fear and healing has a destiny bigger than just your own relief: it will become hope for someone else. This transforms the meaning of your suffering. You're not just surviving; you're being prepared to rescue. Today, receive God's comfort with open hands, knowing it doesn't stop with you — it overflows. One day, on the other side of this crossing, you'll look back and understand: God comforted you so that you could comfort. Your pain will have been worth it, as a bridge to someone else's peace.
Prayer
Father, comfort me in my tribulation. And make my pain a path of hope for others. May the comfort I receive from You one day overflow through me. Amen.
