Day 10Peace in Place of Anxiety

He Gathers Your Tears

Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Psalm 56:8

Maybe you cry alone, in silence, where no one sees — in the shower, in the car, after the house falls asleep. You think those tears are lost, that no one notices how much you hold in. But look at the tender image in today's psalm: God keeps your tears in a bottle, a precious flask, and writes each one down in His book. Nothing you suffer goes unnoticed in heaven. Every sleepless night, every swallowed grief, every time you smiled on the outside while crying on the inside — God saw, counted, and kept it. You don't cry into a void. Your weeping has a witness, and the witness is God Himself, who cares too much to let a single one of your tears fall into forgetfulness. Today, if you feel like crying, don't be ashamed before Him. Your tears are too precious for God to waste — He gathers them, one by one, like someone keeping a treasure.

Prayer

Lord, thank You that not one of my tears is lost to You. You count them, keep them, and You care. Dry what I weep in secret and comfort my heart. Amen.
