Day 53Closer to God — 365 Days

Faith Greater Than Sight

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Walking by sight seems safer. Seeing, touching, proving — all of that feels reasonable. But there's a dimension of life with God that can't be proven with physical eyes. It's lived with the heart. And walking by faith, though it takes courage, leads to places that sight could never reach.

Trusting God when everything looks fine is one thing. Trusting when you can't see anything, when the road seems empty, when the promise hasn't been fulfilled yet — that's a different level of faith. And that's precisely the level God wants to develop in you.

What are you being called to trust without seeing today? A child on a difficult path? A financial situation with no visible way out? A relationship that seems impossible to restore? You don't need to see in order to trust. You need to know who you're trusting. And He is worthy of all your faith.

Prayer

God, I choose to walk by faith today, even without seeing. Strengthen me on this unseen journey, and may my trust in You be more real than anything my eyes can see. Amen.
