Day 66 — Mornings with God
Every Hour, He Is There
“Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:20
There's a human tendency to divide the day into sacred parts and ordinary parts. The morning with God, and the rest of life without Him. The moment of prayer, and then everyone on their own. But Jesus doesn't work that way.
He promised: every day. Not just Sundays. Not just moments of devotion. Every hour — the one at work, the one at a rushed lunch, the one in a tense conversation, the one in traffic, the one at the end of the day when you're worn out. Every day, until the end.
This changes how you live your day. Because when you know He's there, you begin to include Him. A breath before you respond. A whisper of "help me, Lord" before a decision. A pause to recognize His presence in the middle of the rush.
He didn't leave when you closed your Bible. He came with you. Remember this today — every hour that passes.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for being with me every day. May I not forget You in the midst of the rush. I want to include You in every moment, not only the quiet ones. Amen.
