He Will Make Your Paths Straight

What a promise for a day that hasn't even begun. If you acknowledge God — if you include Him, consult Him, surrender to Him — He will make your paths straight. He won't make everything perfectly easy, but He will straighten it. He'll open what was closed, clarify what was confusing, redirect what was crooked.

"In all thy ways" — at work and at home. In your relationship with your spouse and your children. In your finances and your health. In what's visible and in what's still hidden inside your heart. God wants to be present in all of these spaces, not just in the space of formal prayer.

Acknowledging Him is an ongoing act throughout the day. "Lord, guide my words in this meeting." "Father, show me the way in this decision." "God, give me patience in this hard conversation." Tiny prayers like these build a whole day lived with Him.
