The Dawning Light

Have you ever stopped to watch the sky before the sun fully rises?

There's that moment when everything is still blue and gray, and then a streak of orange begins on the horizon. It keeps growing. It keeps brightening. Until suddenly it's day.

God compares the path of those who seek Him to that light. It's not an instant burst — it's gradual growth. A dawning.

Sometimes we get discouraged because we feel we're not advancing in our faith. That we should already know more, pray better, have more patience, be more generous. And we look at our own path and see darkness.

But the dawn doesn't sit still waiting for you to feel ready. It keeps happening. You are advancing, even when you don't notice it. Every morning you choose to show up before God is a little more light on your path.

Don't demand perfection of yourself. The perfect day will come. For now, trust that the dawn has already begun.
