Learning to Trust Again

When we're wounded, especially by someone we loved, something breaks inside: the ability to trust. You build walls, you grow suspicious, you're afraid to give yourself again and take another hit. It's natural — a hurting heart protects itself. But there's one trust worth rebuilding first: trust in God. Unlike people, He "has never forsaken those who seek Him." People fail, walk away, disappoint — God doesn't. Maybe you're so afraid of trusting that you've let that distrust spill over onto Him too. Today, take a small step back.
