Day 29 — Healing for the Heart
As Far as the East Is from the West
“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
Psalm 103:12
Notice the geography God chose. He didn't say He removes our sins 'from north to south' — because north and south have an end; one day you reach the pole and start heading back. He said 'from east to west': east and west never meet, ever. That's how infinitely far God throws away what you repent of. It isn't tucked away in a drawer for Him to use against you later. It doesn't come back. It's gone forever. You might still be clutching close to your chest a mistake that God has already hurled into infinity. Why keep searching for what He decided to erase? God's forgiveness is complete, not partial. Today, stop looking for what He has already made disappear. You are a forgiven person — truly forgiven, farther than the eye can see.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for throwing my mistake so far away it never comes back. Help me stop searching for what You erased. I am forgiven. Amen.
