Day 12 — Healing for the Heart
Pour Out Your Heart
“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him.”
Psalm 62:8
You don't need to filter what you feel before bringing it to God. No prayer is too "wrong" for Him to hear. The Psalms are full of people complaining, asking "why," weeping, even arguing with God — and all of it is prayer. To pour out your heart means turning your soul upside down before Him and letting everything spill out: the anger, the confusion, the sadness, the unanswered questions. God is not offended by your honesty; He draws near to it. Maybe you think you can only speak to God with pretty words and gratitude. But He prefers your true heart to a polished performance of a prayer. Today, don't hide anything from Him. Say what hurts, what angers you, what confuses you. He can take it. And there is deep relief in being fully honest with the One who loves you fully.
Prayer
Father, today I will not dress up what I feel. I pour out my whole heart before You — what hurts and what I don't understand. Thank You for hearing me like this. Amen.
