Day 87 — Strength for Mothers
You Are Being Seen
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”
2 Chronicles 16:9
Motherhood is full of invisible work. The miles driven taking your child to the doctor. The hours spent helping with homework. The sleepless nights. The love that has no witness. The prayer whispered in the silence of your room.
But God sees it all. That is one of the most comforting truths I know.
"The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth." He is not looking only at the stages, the great achievements, the famous people. He is looking at your kitchen. At the hospital bed where you sat. At the back seat of the car where you cried in secret.
And more than seeing, He acts. "To shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." A perfect heart is not a flawless heart — it is a sincere heart, turned toward God. And if that is your heart, God is on your side.
You are not invisible. You are being seen by the only One who truly matters.
Prayer
Father, how good to know that Your eyes see me. May my invisible effort as a mother be seen and honored by You. Give me strength to carry on. Amen.
