Day 76Strength for Mothers

Do Not Grow Weary in Doing Good

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9

There are days when you wonder if it's even worth it. Whether that patient conversation made any difference. Whether the boundary you set was actually understood. Whether the values you're trying to pass on are sinking in. And when you don't see immediate results, the tiredness feels different — it comes weighed down with doubt.

But this verse is a firm promise: "in due season we shall reap." Not "maybe." Not "if everything goes right." If you don't give up, the harvest comes.

The trouble is, motherhood works with seeds, and seeds require time. You don't plant today and harvest tomorrow. Sometimes it takes years to see the fruit of what you've invested. But that doesn't mean the soil is bad or the seed is weak. It means you're still in the planting season.

So today, if you're tired, don't give up. Rest, yes. Ask for help, yes. But don't abandon the field. The harvest is coming.

Prayer

Lord, give me strength to keep going when I don't see results. May I not grow weary in doing good for my children. You are faithful. Amen.
