Day 71Strength for Mothers

The Strength a Mother Receives from God

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

Proverbs 31:25

This verse is about the virtuous woman — and I want you to notice something: she doesn't laugh at the future because everything is already resolved. She laughs because she trusts the One who holds the future. There's a huge difference between the two.

Have you ever seen a mother who seems to carry a peace that doesn't quite make sense? Who, even in the middle of chaos, holds on to something steady? That's not the strength of a strong personality — it's the strength of someone who has learned to lean on God.

The strength you need to raise your children, to endure the hard seasons, to keep on loving when you're worn out — that strength doesn't come from you. It comes from God. And He doesn't hand it out in a single dose; He gives it every day, for each day you have ahead of you.

Today, you don't need strength for the whole year. Just for today. And God is enough for today. Ask, receive, and smile — not because it's easy, but because you know in whom you believe.

Prayer

Lord, I need Your strength. I don't have my own. Clothe me with courage and peace for today. Amen.
