Day 7Strength for Mothers

Woven in the Secret Places

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Psalm 139:15

Before this child even knew his own name, God already knew him. Every detail was woven with intention — the way he laughs, the stubbornness that sometimes wears you out, the tenderness that moves you, the gifts you have yet to discover. None of it was an accident.

And the same is true of you. You were woven together in the secret places, formed with care, seen before you could be seen. God didn't start loving you once you became good enough — He loved you before the beginning.

That truth changes how you see yourself as a mother. You are not an unfinished project chasing an impossible standard. You are a work of God in progress — and He doesn't abandon what He started.

Today, if you feel like you're falling short, remember: the One who wove you also sustains you. He knows every thread. And not one of them is loose.

Prayer

Father, may I trust Your work — both in me and in the children You've given me. May I stop demanding perfection of myself, and learn to trust Your process. Amen.
