Day 61 — Strength for Mothers
You Are Not Alone in This
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Joshua 1:9
Motherhood is one of the loneliest jobs in the world — even when the house is full. There are days when you look at your child and think, "What is going on in his head?" And there's no answer. There are nights when you lay down with a heavy heart, not knowing if you did right or wrong. That loneliness is real, and God knows it.
But notice this: that promise was given to Joshua in the middle of an impossible mission. He was afraid too. And God didn't say, "It will be easy." He said, "I am with you." That's the difference that changes everything.
You don't need to have all the answers about your children. You don't need to be perfect. You need only one thing: to know that the One who made them is wiser than you, and He is with you as you care for them. Today, take a deep breath. You are not alone.
Prayer
Lord, on the days when I feel lost in my role as a mother, remind me that You are with me. May I trust in You more than in my own strength. Amen.
