Day 57Strength for Mothers

Forgiving Yourself

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Psalm 103:12

If God has removed your sins as far as the east is from the west — what are you still carrying? The guilt you hold on to over things He has already forgiven is a burden He never asked you to carry. It's like taking back what you already handed over and tucking it under your arm again. Forgiving yourself doesn't mean minimizing your mistakes. It means trusting that God's forgiveness is real. It means honoring Christ's sacrifice by receiving what He paid for you. The mother who doesn't forgive herself lives tense, indebted, always owing. The mother who forgives herself in Christ lives free to love better, to start over faster, to be lighter with her children. Let go of what He already let go of. You deserve to live free.

Prayer

Father, I truly receive Your forgiveness today. Help me forgive myself too. Take from me the guilt I keep carrying over mistakes You have already removed as far as the east is from the west. Amen.
