Day 56 — Strength for Mothers
Grace in the Weak Places
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
Your weaknesses as a mother are not obstacles to God — they are places where He works. That area where you feel you'll never improve, that pattern that seems impossible to break, that temperament weakness that shames you — it's exactly there that the power of Christ shows itself most clearly. Not in your strength, but in your weakness. That flips everything. You don't need to hide your limits — you can bring them to God as the clay He is going to shape. His grace is enough to cover what you cannot cover on your own. To complete what is lacking in you. The mother who knows she is weak and brings that to God is stronger than the one who pretends to be strong on her own.
Prayer
Lord, I bring You my weaknesses as a mother. I'm not ashamed that I can't do it all alone. May Your power show itself strong exactly where I am weak. Your grace is enough for me. Amen.
