Free from Others' Approval

How many mothering decisions have you made with an eye on what others would think? How you breastfeed, how much screen time your child gets, what you serve for a snack, how you choose a school — there is so much judgment all around that sometimes it's hard to tell which voice in your head is yours and which belongs to everyone else. The Word sets you free from that. God didn't call you to please the moms in the group chat. He called you to be faithful to Him and loving toward your children. Free to make decisions in peace, to get things wrong without public shame, to be the mother God called you to be — not the mother the Instagram feed demands.
