Day 47Strength for Mothers

Mercy That Never Ends

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

Every morning is a fresh start. Not because you deserve it, not because you got everything right yesterday — but because God's mercy is renewed. Every day. Without exception. That bad day yesterday, that wrong word, that moment when you failed — it was yesterday. This morning carries new mercy. This isn't an invitation to act carelessly — it's an invitation to stop carrying the weight of what's already past. You can let it go. You can ask God for forgiveness, you can ask your child for forgiveness if you need to, and you can move forward carried by mercy that renews itself. God's faithfulness doesn't depend on your consistency. It depends on Him. And He is always faithful, even toward the mother who is tired of herself.

Prayer

Father, thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. May I not carry today the weight of yesterday. Help me to receive Your fresh grace and begin again with a light heart. Amen.
