Day 41Strength for Mothers

Patience that Sustains

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Raising children is a test of endurance. It's not a sprint — it's a marathon. And marathons wear you out. There are days when you're at your limit, when your patience runs out before noon, when you wonder if you're getting anything right. On those days, this promise is for you: those who wait on the Lord renew their strength. Not the ones who are perfect. Not the ones who never complain. The ones who wait — who return to God, who acknowledge their need, who don't give up. You can be renewed. You can start over. Even today. Not by your own strength, but by His, at work within you. That mother who is at her limit right now can mount up with wings like an eagle — because renewal comes from above, not from within yourself.

Prayer

Lord, renew my strength today. When my patience runs out, fill me with Yours. May I not grow weary of doing good to my children, trusting that every seed planted has its season of harvest. Amen.
