The Choice of the Household

This is one of the boldest declarations in the Bible. Joshua didn't wait for everyone else to agree. He made his choice and declared it firmly: as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. You can make that same declaration today. It doesn't matter what happens around you — in the extended family, in the neighborhood, on social media. Inside your home, you choose. You choose the atmosphere you cultivate. You choose what comes in, what is valued, what is celebrated. A home doesn't become Christian by accident — it becomes one through daily choices, small and consistent. Pray together. Weave the Word into everyday life. Talk about God naturally. Create an atmosphere where faith is normal, not an exception. That is the most beautiful inheritance you can leave your children.
